Summit Manufacturing has invested heavily in the latest generation of laser blank cutters, laser punches and 3-D lasers for trimming. In addition to our laser cutters, we also utilize plasma cutting and plasma punches for applications best served by those technologies. All of these cutters are CNC controlled for guaranteed precision and repeatability.
Laser cutting provides very accurate parts for tight tolerance work. Our 2-D sheet cutters and laser punches with pallet feed capabilities are extremely accurate with excellent cut quality. Distortion is minimal and flatness is excellent. For very thick material cutting we have multiple plasma burn tables.
For parts that require precision trimming after forming we have two 3-dimensional lasers that can cut any shape at any angle.
